The RIGHT Foundation has decided to support Rapigen’s malaria diagnostic kit project. Rapigen brings its expertise in black gold nanoparticle technology, which enhances the sensitivity of malaria mutation detection. RIGHT Foundation’s backing will help Rapigen further develop and distribute this technology. Clinical trials are planned in Ethiopia and Brazil, with the aim of achieving WHO PQ approval by 2027, positioning this innovation to play a critical role in global health efforts to combat malaria.
