Development of a digital contact tracing mobile application by KT Corporation and Mobile Doctor aims to assess the risk level of COVID-19 infection based on the individual’s past route proximity to contaminated areas and symptoms. This technology will help in guiding individuals to local public clinics and prevent further transmission. It will also allow doctors to determine appropriate tests and treatment options by triaging patients, resulting in more efficient use of limited resources and aiding the epidemic investigation by health authorities.
