This project by ImmuneMed in collaboration with Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) in Bangladesh aims to develop an immunochromatographic test for detection and differentiation of both Typhoid fever and Paratyphoid fever. This projects aims to distinguish serotypes S. Typhi and S. Paratyphi A. Differentiation of serotypes is important for epidemiological and antimicrobial resistance surveillance and monitoring to ensure the most effective treatment.
